I learned in a workshop that the word multitasking is a phrase intended to describe what computers do. It was never supposed to be applied to human beings. Yet there are a few activities that humans can do quite well simultaneously. One is to listen to an audiobook while driving.
In Los Angeles, this human talent allows me to feel really good about my commute. By selecting motivational audiobooks I become a better person with every mile.
